Golf Courses

Golf is, of course, one of the most popular past times on the Costa del Sol and has earned the area the title of Costa del Golf. The courses are many and magnificent and the climate makes it the perfect place to play golf at any time of year.

Probably the most spectacular course is at Alhaurin, less than ten minutes drive from Mijas. Designed by Seve Ballesteros, it is set amongst magnificent mountainous scenery. Some of the other popular courses within a few minutes drive are Mijas Golf, Lauro Golf and La Cala.
